What does it mean: to be a DAD?
from Thea, Paul and Liesbeth Koppelmans, Holland
Meditation from my studs:
It is my job to sire puppies, and I become 2 change for that.
After that I get a path on my back and they say: Good boy, well done.
And that is that!
It is only half my responsability that the offspring(puppies)
get teeth, tail, good front, head ect...
Think about that, only half of the job is mine! The puppies also have
a mother!!
It's not my job to carry the pups, to take care of them, to mother
them, to feed them and to take care that they will be big and strong.
That is the job of the mother and the breeder!!!
It's not my job to give the puppies good food, to make them house-trained,
how to behave inside the house and at the show or how to become a champion.
It's not my job to come up with a breeding plan, deciding which combination
is the best, to look at the pedigrees and to decided which pup will stay
here and which pup will be sold.
It's not my job to be at the right place at the right time under the
right judge. Breeder, owner, broodbitch owner and friends, you may learn
a lesson from what I`m saying!!!
It's not my job to whelp the next champion, I only pass my genes on
to the puppies
But who is to blame, if the puppies are a disappointment ?????????
Not me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
